This blog title, “Lights to Heaven,” shows the power in illuminating the way to remembering who we are, and witnesses to my belief in and devotion to "A Course in Miracles", and my dedication to teaching it and commitment to following it. The essays I am guided to share are unscripted, and my interpretation of the workbook lessons of ACIM are part of my curriculum in becoming a Certified Teacher of Teachers of ACIM. A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 33

A Course in Miracles

Workbook Lesson 33

"There is another way of looking at the world. "

Interpreted by Roberta Gallop

Daily Welcome:  Hail glorious ones, it is so wonderful to see you again, my night was good I hope yours was too. It is so much nicer to do the lessons knowing I have my buddies doing it with me. Sometimes when they start getting particularly wonky I love to think about the outrageous in the beginning and that happy energy gets me through. Speaking of which, today is Jammy day. I just bought a couple pairs of fuzzy pajama bottoms and I've been just itchin to try them out. So, I am wearing my fuzzy red ones and a pink polka dot tank top. If I feel comfy on the outside, I'll probably feel comfy on the inside. Let's do some sweet group huggin and move on down the road.

Prayer: Blessed and perfect God, my joy and trust is with you, I walk with you, I feel you beside me and I feel accepted and comforted. Please help me to see as you do, love as you do. Please grant me knowledge of your will for me and the power to carry that out. Please send your Wholly Spirit to teach and guide us and to help us to see things differently. Only with you we are one, please help to learn how to be kind to others and to ourselves. Allways.

Workbook Lesson:  "There is another way of looking at the world. " I love this one, cause they are showing us in a gentle and easy way that there is another way to see the world, and that goes a long way for me, because I have been looking out for so long. Using the internal eye of Christ, I can see the world as it is intended to be, with joy, peace, and most of all love. There is only oneness, we are all the same, no judgement or separation thoughts, just a completely neutral regard for all we see. Seeing the world as one, is a beautiful thing. One of the memories I have of an awakening was the deep sense of peace, the constructs of the world was still there, but how I saw the world had changed. I was without fear, I totally felt the presence of God with me, and I could feel His spirit everywhere. So, the cool thing about this lesson is that I know it to be true.

Thinking it Over:  This lesson gives me so much hope, that there is a different way of seeing, and I can do it. As my mind changes how I see, and what I see changes. I so desperately want to see us as one, not feeling in competition with everyone for love. Just enjoying the Wholly Spiritual Universe, and knowing we are together. What would you most want to see differently? Why?

Tips & Tricks: Please remember to try every now and then to sit and just enjoy those seconds and minutes, when your mind can go blank, and you can think as little as possible. Sometimes I don't even recognize I am doing it. That my mind is not filled with the what ifs, the he saids, she saids, and preoccupation with the future. I am just sorta being, feeling God, feeling the oneness, kinda at peace and blank. The more our thinking changes the more often this will happen.

Upon Closing: Whew, I must admit it got a little hot in my fuzzy red jammy pants, but it was fun, and I looked so cute, like a giant furry lobster. It was an exciting, but playful time, and it was great to see that you were enjoying yourselves as much as I did. Please continue to do your lessons to the best of your ability and realize as you do the Course your abilities will grow ever so nicely, in so many happy and surprising ways. Maybe it is the best time for a picnic, I'll get the picnic basket from behind the tree and you guys can lay down the tablecloth, all I brought was peanut butter and honey, but honey bears are the most yummy thing in the world. Would you please go to the creek and get the cider and we can relax for a sec and enjoy the companionship. Choose peace my caring warriors. Love & Light, Riki 🌈
