Workbook Lesson 62
"Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world."
Interpreted by Roberta Gallop
Daily Welcome: Hi my precious loves, I hope your night was awesome and that this day is wonderful too. This lesson is one of my favorites cause it is giving us a strong and clear directive on how to move forward. So, in honor of this lesson let's put our hero outfits on once again and go forward to seek out resistances wherever they may be lurking and give them a big does of forgiveness. Today I am wearing my Wonder Woman outfit and I am ready to take on the world. Let's get in a huggie circle and enjoy saving the world together. Thanks you guys, you bring out the best in me.
Prayer: Bless Wholly Spirit, please show us the way, please reach inside me, and show me the parts that need to be released and forgiven. Please grant me the strength that once I have found the resistances that I can use your light to accept and forgive them. Please grant us knowledge of God's Wholly will for us and the power to carry it out. Please do for us what we cannot do for ourselves, and help us to know we are never alone, ever. Thank you for teaching us, allways.
Workbook Lesson: "Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world." This lesson really points out how important forgiveness is to the world. Forgiving is like taking a shovel and one scoop at a time removing all the mis-creations, junk, misperceptions, fantasies of who we are and how it is, all layers of it, so we get clear enough to truly connect to who we are and how it is. Every time I forgive another place, another area, it completely erases it. It's like using Magic Eraser on our mind. Remember we are all connected with one mind. So, as I bring in the light, by forgiving and accepting, we all benefit from it, and we can see ever so much brighter, and feel our oneness with God.
Thinking it Over: I am starting to learn this process from doing it on a regular basis. First, I ask God to show me an area in my life that needs forgiveness, then as I stay open it isn't too hard to see what needs forgiving, because the resistances start coming up everywhere. I can get triggered every which way from Sunday, I keep seeing the same theme everywhere I go. Like, oh she is so rude, she is so inconsiderate, who does she think she is, she thinks she's so special. And you can bet that puts me right into looking at my own behavior and my own sense of entitlement, and when I get to the place where I can honestly release and forgive the whole thought patterns, then I gain the insight to see things differently. What triggers you? What do you need to release and forgive? How can you see it differently?
Tips & Tricks: This navigating and accepting things can take a little getting used to, it's part of the mind ordering that is brought on by doing the lessons of the Course on a regular and consistent basis. Sometimes the process and result can seem very obvious and other times, it is subtle and barely detectable, but I do know first hand that if I just keep doing them, looking for my resistances, practicing forgiveness, I grow, I become calmer and more peaceful, and less weighted down by self-judgement and criticism, and more acceptance of things as they are.
Upon Closing: That was a blast, I think I am finally getting the hang of this cape flying thing. The sense of responsibility and purpose brought out by this lesson is astounding and heartwarming. We looked so cute bopping on down the road in our bad ass, save the world costumes on our most sacred of missions. I am gonna take an awesome dip in the creek. Clothing optional as usual. Sometimes all I need is a chance to be still and know I am God. I hope you are enjoying our time together, I am here for you and enjoy your company. Have a blessed night, Love & Light, Riki 🌈
