Daily Welcome: Blessed day my sweet buddies, I hope you had a wonderful night's sleep and are ready to move forward on the path to enlightenment once again. Just kicking it down the road, tank top, daisy dukes and all. Just all the freedom to come through, the true freedom of knowing you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Hanging with us, lovin us, and lovin God all at the same time. Big group hug my beauties and on with the show.
Prayer: Our blessed Father, sometimes it is hard to know where we belong and which problems are problems we want, and which ones we don't, and sometimes even where the problems are anyway. Please grant us the clarity to release and forgive everything that keeps us from you, that keeps us from us. I know this world is an illusion, but sometimes I get so lost in playing that I forget the truth. Please blessed and Wholly Spirit guide us home, guide us to the truth and show us the beauty of the Heaven that is within us. Thank you for teaching us, allways.
Workbook Lesson: "Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved." This one feels like a riddle, there is a problem to be solved so I first have to see the problem before I can solve it, but I am having a hard time recognizing I have a problem and where the problem is that I have, so it can be solved. Reminds me of "Who's on first?" But by connecting to the proceeding lessons, I am able to see the solution is forgiveness, and the problem is all the grievances I have that keep me from connecting to the miracles that I am entitled to. I have had grievances my whole life and I am very good at cultivating them out of basically thin air. From the second I wake up in the morning, I am nursing grudges and replaying resentments in my mind. The only time they seem to stay gone is when I purposely get to a place of surrender and honestly forgive everything and everyone, especially myself and release the memory.
Thinking it Over: The other thing I am quite guilty of is after I find the problem, I can get into beating myself up unmercifully, because I should know better, I am just a piece of poop after all, I am weak and pathetic, and I will never get the Course, I am too stupid to understand it. These are the kind of messages I tell myself, so clearly this is my way of staying blind to the truth of who I am. How does your problem manifest? What do you tell yourself?
Tips & Tricks: The most important tip of all is please, please, please be gentle with yourself. I found that this lesson and a few others just got right in there and tripped my triggers all over the place. The critical and judgmental messages from childhood were flooding in and it goes far better when I use it as an opportunity to release and forgive, and the negative self-hate feelings leave faster, and many times don't return. Remember ways we can be good to ourselves include, eating healthy, getting a walk in or some other peaceful exercise, and also rest and meditation time. Balance is a big deal when it comes to loving self-care. Another hint is to do self-care especially when you don't feel like it, and reaching out to the Wholly Spirit can be very helpful.
Upon Closing: Whew, that was a cool trip, hangin with you guys and realizing there is a way out whether I completely believe it or not. I love you guys so much, cause I don't feel alone and scared and hiding, I feel alive and vital and well understood. Let's have a picnic, I'll grab the fried chicken from the cooler and you guys can grab the cider and the blanket and we can get down to talking about awakening, my favorite subject. Have a blessed night you guys. Love and light, Riki 🌈
